How Cart2Cart Uses Workalizer for Customer Success and Team Performance

I’m Natalia Dyachuk, Head of Customer Success at Cart2Cart. Our team lives in Google Workspace—Meet, Drive, Gmail, and Chat—while we help merchants move store data between eCommerce platforms. Cart2Cart is a shopping cart migration service: we transfer products, customers, orders, and related data so merchants can switch platforms without starting from scratch. That work is collaborative, customer-facing, and often distributed across time zones. Visibility into how we actually work matters as much as the migrations themselves.
Workalizer sits on top of Google Workspace usage and audit signals. It does not read message bodies or file contents. What it gives us is a clear picture of collaboration patterns—enough to coach the team, protect focus time, and run fairer reviews. Here’s how we use four areas that matter most for Customer Success.
Meeting analytics
Customer Success at Cart2Cart is meeting-heavy: kickoffs, status calls, escalations, and internal syncs. Without shared visibility, it’s easy for calendars to fill up until deep work disappears. Workalizer’s meeting analytics surface Meet load, duration trends, and attendance patterns so we can see who is over-scheduled and which recurring meetings deserve a closer look.
That helps leadership ask better questions—not “why isn’t this done?” but “is this person stuck in back-to-back calls that block merchant follow-through?” We use those signals to rebalance agendas, protect focus blocks for migration specialists, and keep customer-facing collaboration intentional rather than habitual.
External files sharing
Migrations involve shared docs, spreadsheets, and handover materials with merchants and partners. External Drive sharing is sometimes necessary—and sometimes accidental. Workalizer gives us visibility into files shared outside the organization without opening the content itself. That distinction matters for trust: we can spot unusual sharing patterns and tighten process where needed, while respecting privacy.
For a CS org, that means fewer surprises. When someone shares a folder externally for a live migration, we have context. When sharing drifts beyond the usual partners, we can intervene early. It’s a practical layer of awareness that sits next to our existing security practices—not a replacement for them.
Outgoing messages intelligence
Great Customer Success is proactive. Gmail and Chat volume alone doesn’t tell you whether outreach is balanced or whether someone is drowning in reactive threads. Workalizer’s outgoing messages intelligence highlights outbound communication patterns—how much we initiate versus respond—so managers can see proactive outreach versus firefighting load.
In practice, that supports coaching conversations: celebrating specialists who keep merchants informed before issues escalate, and supporting teammates whose outbound volume collapses under inbound pressure. We stay focused on patterns and cadence, not message text. That keeps the insight useful for performance conversations without turning into surveillance of content.
Periodic performance review insights
Periodic reviews used to lean heavily on memory and anecdote. Workalizer’s performance review views pull together communication, meeting, and collaboration signals into a single picture for an employee, a manager’s attention across the team, or team-level work patterns. For Customer Success, that means 1:1s and formal reviews can reference real Workspace activity—initiative, meeting load, communication balance—alongside qualitative feedback from merchants and peers.
The goal isn’t to score people on email count. It’s to ground development talks in evidence: where someone is stretched thin, where they lead conversations, and how their collaboration habits support (or hinder) migration outcomes. Fairer reviews start with shared context—and Workalizer gives us that context on a recurring cadence.
What this means for Cart2Cart
Cart2Cart’s promise to merchants is a smooth platform move. Behind that promise is a CS and operations team that needs healthy meeting culture, careful external sharing, proactive communication, and honest performance conversations. Workalizer helps us see those dimensions in Google Workspace without guessing—and without reading private content.
If you lead a customer-facing team on Google Workspace and want the same kind of clarity, explore Workalizer and see how meeting analytics, sharing visibility, outgoing message patterns, and performance review insights fit your workflow.
