Frequently Asked Questions
Clear answers about how Workalizer works and what it does for your organization.
- What does Workalizer actually show?
- Workalizer turns your existing Google Workspace activity data—Gmail, Drive, Meet, Chat, Gemini—into clear insights. You see how work happens: collaboration patterns, meeting load, document activity, and adoption trends. No guesswork; everything is based on usage logs your organization already has. No access to message content or file contents is required.
- Is my organization’s data safe?
- Workalizer does not require access to sensitive content. We use only usage and audit log data that Google provides. Data is encrypted in transit and at rest, and we follow strict security practices and compliance standards. Access is controlled via Google Workspace roles so only authorized admins and managers see insights. See our Data Access Policy and GDPR pages for details.
- How can Workalizer help with performance reviews?
- Workalizer gives managers and HR objective, data-driven input: who collaborates with whom, how meetings and focus time are distributed, and how adoption of tools evolves. That supports fairer reviews, early signals of burnout or isolation, and better decisions about workload and support—without reading emails or tracking keystrokes.
- How do I get started?
- Install Workalizer from the Google Workspace Marketplace (admin approval required), grant the requested scopes, and open the app. Your first dashboards and reports are available shortly. No migration or extra data entry—we build on the Workspace data you already have. For a no-install preview, try our Live Demo.
