Performance Review for Manager: Report Overview
The Performance Review for Manager report in Workalizer focuses on how much time a manager spends with each team member in meetings and chats. The main widget is Individual Communication Time, which breaks down manager–employee contact so you can review 1:1 balance and manager effectiveness. This report is part of the Reports area.
Report Access
Go to /performance-review/ and select the manager (by org unit and then the person). Open the Manager tab. Set the Period (e.g. Month, Quarter). The report shows manager-specific data only. For the same person’s employee-level metrics use the Employee tab; for team-level data use Work Patterns.
Functionality: Individual Communication Time
This widget shows the amount of time the manager spends in meetings and in chat with each individual employee. It typically includes:
- Time in meetings (Google Meet) with each direct report (and possibly group meetings).
- Time in chat (Google Chat) with each team member.
- A breakdown by employee so you can see who gets more or less contact.
Use it to assess whether 1:1 and team contact are balanced, to support manager coaching, and to align with span-of-control or fairness goals. Data is driven by the same underlying activity as the employee report but aggregated from the manager’s perspective.
