To compare current alert activity to previous periods, leverage the Document Alerts Summary Chart's 'Period' filter. You can select a 'Custom Range' to view two distinct periods side-by-side (if your dashboard setup allows, or by running two separate analyses). Visually compare the bar heights and overall trends between your chosen current period and a past period to identify changes in alert frequency, intensity, or patterns, aiding in performance assessment.
